FutBalance 2.0.1 · 1.0.2: Rankings, renewed home and achievements fix
Version 2.0.1 on web and 1.0.2 on iOS and Android brings targeted improvements to player rankings, the commitment card, important fixes to the achievements system, and a full renewal of the website home page to reflect that FutBalance is now available as a native app.
🏅 Top players table: smart tie-breaking
When two or more players shared a position in the ranking, the order was arbitrary. The table now follows a clear and fair tie-breaking hierarchy:
- 1st: Best win percentage — the player with the higher % of matches won moves up.
- 2nd: Most matches played — if the win % is identical, the player who has played more wins.
- 3rd: Alphabetical order — last resort to guarantee stable and predictable sorting.
💛 Most committed card: now with attendance %
The most committed player card showed the name and the achievement, but not the key figure that justified it. The card now also displays the player's attendance percentage, giving more context and credibility to the recognition.
🌐 Renewed home: focused on the native app
The futbalance.com home page has been thoroughly renewed to reflect the new reality of the app:
- App screen carousel in the hero: instead of the login form, the main hero now shows a carousel with real app screenshots, making a much more visual first impression. Available in all languages.
- Updated "How It Works" image: the explanatory section image has been refreshed to show the current interface.
- Achievements in Key Features: the features section now highlights the achievements system, which was previously missing.
- New testimonials section: a section with real user reviews from the App Store and Google Play has been added, with direct links to the stores and a 5-star rating.
- Updated download page: the old page with instructions for creating a PWA shortcut has been replaced with a clean page featuring direct buttons to the App Store and Google Play.
🔧 Fix: achievements not reaching all leagues
A bug has been detected and fixed where the achievements system was not being applied correctly across all leagues. In some cases, players who met the requirements to earn a badge did not receive it if their league was not among the first ones processed. This issue has been resolved and the system now guarantees that achievements reach every group without exception.
In addition, achievement translations have been completed across all app languages (German, French, Italian and Portuguese), which in previous versions were partially displayed in English.
