FutBalance 2.0.3 · 1.0.3: Editable lineups, improved algorithm and push notifications
Version 2.0.3 on web and 1.0.3 on iOS and Android brings one of the most requested features: editing lineups after a match is created. The team generation algorithm is now more accurate, push notifications work even when the app is closed, and the app warns you when you lose your internet connection.
📋 Editable lineups after match creation
Until now, once a match was created the lineup was fixed. From this version you can edit the squad at any time, even after the match has been created. When generating teams, you now see each player's score directly on screen, making manual adjustments to balance teams much easier.
⚖️ More accurate team generation algorithm
The algorithm that distributes players into balanced teams has been improved in two key ways:
- Primary position first: the algorithm now considers each player's main position to place them where they perform best.
- Secondary positions as tiebreaker: when two players have the same score, secondary positions are used as a criterion for more balanced and coherent teams.
The result is fairer teams from the start, with less need for manual adjustments.
🔔 Push notifications with the app closed
Push notifications were already available in previous versions, but in some cases they did not arrive when the app was fully closed. This version fixes that: you will now receive real-time alerts for activity in your league — new matches, squad calls, results — even when the app is not open.
📶 Offline warning when no internet connection
If you open the app without a connection or lose it during use, a clear banner now appears on screen letting you know there is no internet. You immediately know why data is not loading, instead of being left with a blank screen.
🔧 Fix: incorrect player count
A bug has been fixed where the player count shown in the players tab and the teams tab could differ. Both figures are now always consistent.
