FutBalance 2.2.0 · 1.2.0: Head-to-head comparison, Season Review and more
Version 2.2.0 on web and 1.2.0 on iOS and Android brings two major new features: the Head-to-head comparison screen between two players with a radar chart, and the Annual Season Review — a Wrapped-style summary for your football league. It also fixes visibility issues in light mode on Android.
⚔️ Head-to-head comparison
From the Stats screen, tap the “Face off players” button to open the new comparison screen. Pick any two players from your league and instantly see:
- Radar chart across 6 dimensions: win %, goals or clean sheet, points, pts/match, unbeaten % and commitment
- Stat cards compared side by side in a visual format
- Head-to-head match history with results, dates and each player’s goals
- Best player: the screen automatically determines who wins the most categories out of 8
The period filter (year, quarter and semester) affects all stats and the match history too, so you can compare any slice of the season.
🎁 Season Review — your football Wrapped
At the end of each season, FutBalance automatically generates a personalised review with the highlights of your football year. It includes, among other things:
- 🎍 Your best month — the month with your best personal performance
- 🤝 Your favourite teammate — the player you’ve won most with on the same team
- ⚽ Your toughest opponent — the player who scored the most goals against you
- 📈 Your progression — how your performance evolved throughout the year
- 🏆 Your milestones — streaks, personal records and achievements of the year
The review is delivered by email at the end of the season and also shown as an in-app notification so you don’t miss it even if you don’t check your inbox.
🔧 Fix: player names visible in light mode (Android)
After the dark mode improvements on Android in the previous version, player names in the Top 5 – Commitment, Top 5 – Current unbeaten streak and Top 5 – All-time unbeaten streak tables were appearing too light against the white background in light mode. They now use the same colour as names in other tables like the Top Scorers table.
📊 Fix: X-axis labels in streak charts
The X-axis coordinate labels in the unbeaten streak charts were also appearing too faint in light mode. They have been corrected to be readable on all devices and display modes.
🚫 Fix: players cannot rate themselves
In the ratings panel of the player dashboard, your own card is now locked: it appears greyed out with a padlock and a “You” label, and cannot be tapped. This prevents players from intentionally lowering their own rating to end up on stronger teams. Organisers and technical secretaries can still rate themselves, since their panel is separate and they need it to build teams based solely on their own ratings.
