FutBalance 2.1.0: the flank, the till and the handover

FutBalance 2.1.0 puts each player on their flank, shows what is still owed first, and lets the group move on if the organizer is gone. A finished match keeps the pre-match picks, and a handful of rough edges are gone.

FutBalance 2.1.0: the flank, the till and the handover

What's new

Preferred flank

On a player you can mark a preference for the left, the right, or either. It applies to defenders, full-backs, midfielders and wingers: in 7-a-side or 8-a-side there are often no wingers, but there are wide midfielders. It starts off. The organizer turns it on in Settings.

In the pitch view, a player who asks for a side stays on that side. Someone who does not mind takes the other. Position still comes first: a midfielder does not lose the midfield slot.

Treasury: what is still owed

Treasury opens on what is still to collect. The ring at the top shows the share already collected. Next to it, To collect, with how many owe and how many are up to date.

The bar splits that debt into three groups: Recent (under 2 weeks), A few weeks (2 weeks to 1 month) and Over 1 month. Tap a group, or “owe” / “up to date”, and the list shows only those people. Tap the same filter again and it returns to who owes. Collected, Expenses and Balance stay below. A red balance means the till is negative.

Hand over the group

The organizer can hand the group over to another member and stay on as technical secretary or as a player. If the organizer disappears, a technical secretary can ask to take over. With no reply in 14 days, the group becomes theirs and the previous organizer stays as secretary.

Picks on the finished match

Once a match is completed, its card in Matches keeps a summary of the pre-match picks if anyone voted. The voting box goes away. The result of the vote stays.

Improvements

Link from the notification

Accepting a link from the bell now accepts it. The dot on the Players menu disappears when nothing is left pending.

Head to head

The head-to-head bars are easier to read: you see sooner who is ahead on each stat.

Hall of Fame

“Most badges” now really points to the player with the most achievements.

Ratings

Anyone who signed in with Google and could not rate the rest of the group now has a profile. Ratings work again.

The “is this you?” notice

“Are you a player in this group?” no longer cuts off with an ellipsis. If it does not fit, it wraps onto several lines. It also says that linking your profile lets you vote for MVP.

Best eye

The best-eye table matches the others: titles and text at the right size. On desktop it no longer sits alone across the full width.
