FutBalance 2.3.0: live, on the pitch and in the tables
FutBalance 2.3.0 lets you follow the match from the pitch, log goals and assists as they happen, see the lineup from 3-a-side up, and read the tables without so much scrolling. The result is uploaded from the match card.
What's new
The match, live
While the game is on, the organiser or a secretary logs each goal from the pitch. The app then asks who made the assist, or whether it was an own goal. Anyone watching sees the score straight away.
Stats do not move yet. They count when the match is marked finished. To use it, Track scorers has to be on in Settings, and then Live score.
The pitch, from 3-a-side
When you create teams or a match, the pitch view appears from 3v3 up. You see who is in goal, who is in the middle and who is up front, without waiting for a full eleven.
If the sides do not match, the pitch is drawn in the shape of the larger side. A 5v4 looks like a 5v5: the missing player leaves an empty spot, and the positions are not squeezed together.
Less scrolling in the tables
Playmaker, Workhorse and Golden Gloves are no longer three cards in a row. They sit in one, and you pick which to see, the same way top scorers switch between goals, hat-tricks and average. Sharing each table still works as before.
The same goes for the two streak tables: one card, and you switch between them.
Several tables now stop at the top 5. The button no longer says Top 20: it says View all players, and opens the rest. Trios stay as they were, with their Top 20. The tables also get a light design pass.
Upload the result from the card
Closing a match no longer means opening edit and then marking it complete. The card has Upload Result.
What we had not mentioned
This landed in 2.2.1 and 2.2.2, and it never made the blog or the update modal.
- Opening the app brings you back to the group you left, not a default one.
- On mobile, in highlights, scrolling the top strip moves the one below with it. The other way already worked.
- Sharing a press article uses the post image as the preview on Facebook and the other networks.
- When you edit a match, own goals stay saved. You do not have to mark them again.
- Logging an own goal for team B no longer jumps the page to the top.
- The app is ready to look and work on iPhone Duo.
